No whining in Sonoma

Watermelon frenzy
A few wine tours in and we are connoisseurs.  Peyton really enjoyed the trolley ride at Benzinger winery  and became a sticky mess while enjoying some (I mean a lot of) watermelon in their courtyard.

To avoid getting wined out, the kids went horseback riding at Triple Creek while the adults went on to non-kid friendly wineries.  Lucky for Jon he got to ride Magnum, Horse of the Month for May.  The guide thought I was a weirdo for knowing that but it's all over their website so whatever! --- http://triplecreekhorseoutfit.com/employee-of-the-month/

Nappin in Napa

Wine and Cheese
To celebrate Aunt Kristin's graduation we flew out to Napa for some wining and dining.  What do you do with a babe in Napa?  Well... you hit up only family friendly wineries especially the ones with wildlife.  Just don't get too close as this Emu pulled off Peyton's sock!

Our little waddler had a fascination for glasses this trip.  Peyton liked to pulled them off of peoples' heads and put them back on.  But sometimes she just wanted to hoard sunglasses.  She had a pretty good time!

No... Hahaha

Tight spaces
The word No has been reserved for select situations, the problem is she loves a good No and crinkles her nose and throws her head back with laughter and delight when she receives one.  Daddy and I have had to resort to saying serious Nos so hopefully she gets it.

  1. Safety: she loves a good outlet and always manages to find one that we forgot to recover, standing in the bathtub, and scooching behind the tele
  2. Throwing food on floor when she's done... despite doing the all done sign.  She really want to drive home that she's done
  3. Putting Kinnie's dog food in his water dish, blows up to 5Xs the size
Ahh, child rearing.

E-I-E-I-Oh Yeah

Little piggie
Yeehaw, Peyton's farm party was the cats meow!  Family and cake are always a good combination.  Peyton demolished her piggie cake and thought she was pretty hilarious doing so.  Perhaps we let that one go a little too far...

Kinnie's pig costume was given to Goodwill so the turtle stand-by had to suffice (do they even take pet costumes at Goodwill?).  Daddy made the petting zoo sign.  Note: the backwards Z was not intentional, honest mistake.  Most intriguing gift went to the stroller given by Uncle Rob.  Peyton took off and keep walking that thing to the hills.  We had to herd our little lamb back!

"Bawk" says the chicken, "?" says the turtle

What's up doc?

Scalpel please
Peyton attended Aunt Kristin's medical school graduation this weekend.  She was quite the little scrambler during the ceremony but kept busy playing with her doctor kit and crawling all over everyone and everything.  After it was time to partay and Peyton got to stay up way late thanks to the cookies Nana was feeding her under the table!

Congrats!
