Trick or Tweet

Sweetie Tweetie
Peytie was a verrrrrry scarrrrrrry bluebird for Halloween.

I wanted to make Peyton's costume this year so I envisioned a bluebird, picked out the fabric, and the fabric sat and sat and sat on the dining room table for weeks.  I was dreading the thought of threading that bobbin and had flashbacks to the months I spent sewing the simplest bunting flags for her room.

Nana came down to babysit a few weeks back and I conned her into making a pattern and sewing the body and hood.  The next week Grandma came down and I bamboozled her into sewing on the wings and beak.  They should be very suspicious when we invite them down next October. : )

Scrub a dub dub

Squeaky clean
Peyton graduated from her baby bathtub.  The kitchen counter was getting tooooo wet from her kickin' and splashin'!  Now she has a spacious inflatable seal tub.  Life is good!

One small step...

...for Peyton
Jon loves space.  Jon loves Peyton.  Not surprisingly Jon thinks Astronaut Peyton is out of this world!

Once again Jon is having a blast watching Peyton while Mom is at work.  Jon isn't one for taking pictures, but he had quite the mini photo shoot with her in this nerdy costume.  Jon cannot wait to take her to the science center planetarium.

Say Cheese

Team spirit
We went to the Packers Rams game sans Peyton.  She stayed home with her nice babysitter but still showed her team spirit.

There were easily more Packers fans than Rams fan.  However we ended up sitting right in front of the most enthusiastic 8 year old Rams fan... "WHO'S HOUSE!!!" "Go JACKSON!!!" the ENTIRE game.

Target practice

Fun stuff
While filling out Peyton's baby book, I was asked what places she likes to visit near home.  That's easy...Target!  I feel uncomfortable perching the carseat on the front of the cart.  Instead Peytie fills up the majority of the cart and I've learned to fill every available crevice with supplies.

By the end of the shopping trip she has items toppling all over her.  It's quite the mess.  Lucky for us she loves squeezing the bread!

BREAD!!

Tater Tot

I prefer candy
Our little tot had her first big girl veggie on October 13th.  Sweet potatoes went over well and over the next few days she starting grabbing the spoon to try and feed herself!  Since then we've tried peas and bananas.  She really really enjoys the peas!

Ahhh mom
